Christle's Hypnobirth
Photos of Christle during labour- "this was during my surges just before I was ready to push :) "
Hi Sam,
Apologies on the late reply to your email! Thankyou for the email checking in though, we actually ended up having our little man last Sunday 25/11/18.
I was worried with having the gestational diabetes about needing to be induced but I was able to stay diet controlled throughout the rest of my pregnancy and scans showed his growth was right on track so the drs were happy to let me go in to labour naturally. After your course I was listening to my tracks every night and practicing breathing techniques preparing for labour so I felt very ready for his arrival.
I ended up going in to labour spontaneously with my waters breaking at home at around 9:30pm on Saturday, 24th, and surges starting shortly after. I laboured in our bedroom with my hypnobirthing tracks on, using an exercise ball and breathing techniques. It wasn’t long until I was having regular surges so we headed to the hospital and by 12:30am I was fully dilated and ready to bring our baby in to the world. He arrived at 1:40am Sunday morning. It was a quick labour and the one thing that got me through it all was definitely using the breathing techniques we learnt and the support of my husband - they helped me achieve the labour I had really hoped for, which was natural and drug free!
Thankyou so much for teaching and showing us all about Hypnobirthing and how to have a calm birth - I have been letting all my friends and family how valuable it is and would definitely recommend it for anyone having a baby!
Kind Regards
Christle
